Benefit for digitization

Innovative partnership with DIE RADIOLOGIE

June 2022 – The medical tech and software company “EasyRadiology” and “DIE RADIOLOGIE” join an innovative partnership: The Munich-based radiology practice association reinforces the EasyRadiology philosophy “By doctors for doctors.”

With its expertise of more than 60 radiologists, radiation therapists, and nuclear medicine specialists, DIE RADIOLOGIE is contributing to further developing and disseminating the digital full-service platform of EasyRadiology. The goal is to make image-based diagnostics faster, safer, and more sustainable to make diagnoses more quickly and accelerate the start of therapy for patients.

The heart of EasyRadiology’s high-performance viewer is the “Fast Imaging Technology.” It enables rapid transmission of images and findings in real time to referring physicians and patients. They can view the images immediately using any web browser-based device – PC/Mac, tablet, smartphone. In this way, EasyRadiology is helping to eliminate the use of examination CDs/DVDs, which has been common in radiology for many years and is thus environmentally friendly.

The latest development is the patient app. With it, patients benefit not only from the rapid visibility and availability of their radiological images and findings but also from the digital possibilities of their account: They can manage their examinations individually via codes, for example, share them with all or only selected physicians, upload preliminary examinations, and much more.

Referring physicians and physicians providing further treatment view the images from the radiology departments directly online and, with the Connector technology, have the option of loading and saving the image and findings data directly and easily in their practice systems, such as RIS and PACS.

About EasyRadiology

Physicians of all specialties, patients, scientists, teachers and students already use EasyRadiology as a medical imaging partner to digitally view and share radiological images via the full-service platform.

In addition to the patient and referring physician portal, EasyRadiology has successfully established a digital workflow for inpatient, outpatient, and cross-sector care in combination with online appointment portals. This enables a fast workflow, significant time and cost savings, and thus a quick diagnosis and therapy start for the patient.

With the Clinical Trial Suite, EasyRadiology has a product in its portfolio that maximally facilitates the workflow of clinical trials in the research and scientific units of university hospitals, study centers, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies. According to studies, all data and images are immediately transferred digitally and structured in folders. Time-consuming sending and multiple readings of data carriers are eliminated 100%.

The next step in the roadmap of the Cologne-based full-service provider for medical imaging in radiology is integrating artificial intelligence so that doctors can provide their diagnoses even faster. To this end, EasyRadiology is cooperating with well-known developers of AI algorithms.

In addition to numerous future-oriented radiologies, education providers such as DocCheck and Amboss are working with EasyRadiology. The SmartZoom® education platform has revolutionized education and training for medical students, radiologists, and pathologists. They only need one platform for teaching, symposia, webinars, and online events. EasyRadiology, with a top-notch software developer team, is constantly developing the products, keeping them at the very cutting edge of technology, and customizing them to meet users’ needs.
