While CD imports in radiology are steadily declining, the next step has already taken hold: patients are increasingly receiving their imaging data via QR codes. However, this progress presents new challenges\u2014especially for hospitals that must process a large number of QR codes from different portal providers every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with VISUS Health IT GmbH from Bochum, we have developed a solution that directly addresses this issue. easy2PACS is now seamlessly integrated into JiveX, enabling all JiveX customers to import QR codes into PACS effortlessly\u2014without detours or manual steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Challenge for Hospitals: Time-Consuming QR Code Import<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until now, QR codes brought by patients had to be manually opened, downloaded, and imported into PACS\u2014a process involving multiple steps, consuming valuable time, and slowing down daily hospital operations. Many workflows are still designed around handling CDs, making the transition to QR codes cumbersome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With easy2PACS in JiveX, this inefficient workflow is a thing of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to direct integration, QR codes can now be imported into PACS within seconds.
