Conversion into stock corporation

September 2022 – easyRadiology GmbH, headed by Claudia Mührer, has completed the company’s conversion into a stock corporation. With this, easyRadiology, provider of the most modern patient and referral portal for radiologies, is taking the next growth step.

The previous management team of Claudia Mührer, Martin Weihrauch, M. D., and Dr. Detlef K.-H. Finkler has been appointed to the board of directors. The well-coordinated team of experienced executives from the medical tech and software industry has been shaping the full-service platform’s successful development, making image-based diagnostics faster, safer, and more sustainable for the benefit of patients and physicians.

The reason is: The fast imaging technology of easyRadiology’s high-performance viewer enables the transmission of all diagnostic examination images in real-time to any Internet-enabled device: PC/laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Referring physicians and patients can view the images immediately without installing any software. The time-consuming process of creating patient CDs/DVDs, which has been common in radiology for years, is eliminated with easyRadiology.

By transforming the company into a stock corporation, the management trio is responding to the enormous market demand for digitized image and diagnostic data in radiology and enabling rapid further development of the platform. This includes the development of the easyRadiology app, which allows patients to individually manage their radiological images and findings in their individual account. Referring physicians and doctors providing further treatment view the images from the radiologist directly online and can easily integrate the image and findings data into their practice systems such as RIS and PACS.

The next step in the roadmap of the Cologne-based medical imaging specialists is the integration of artificial intelligence so that doctors can provide their diagnoses even faster.
